Kalil Equine provides quality established facilities that cater to the unique needs of the Racing and Performance Horse Industries. Kalil Equine emphasises being a boutique business where horses are cared for as complete individuals.
We devote ourselves to the compassionate care of every horse entrusted to us and offer opportunities for individual equine management and treatments that are unique, along with daily rates that are quietly competitive.
SPELLING & AGISTMENT
With spacious yards complete with shelters, horses have the opportunity to spell together or individually. Alongside pasture, hard feed and hay are supplied daily to ensure horses’ nutritional requirements are met.
With paddocks ranging in size, we are able to cater to the horse’s physical and psychological well being.
Yearling & Horse Prep
The exciting phase in a young horse's life is the beginning of their prep as a performance horse. During this time, yearlings learn what is required for success, nurtured in a stress-free environment that creates well-rounded young stock. Tailored feed and exercise regimes, alongside being closely monitored for soundness, conformation, condition and most of all health and well-being are things Kalil Equine pride itself on.
Young Horse Prep also extends when weanlings take their first steps away from mum and learn to be their own individuals. Weaning is a delicate process and this process is undertaken in a gentle, well-managed way, over the time frame of several weeks. This ensures horses have time to process and adapt to changes in their life, in a way that is as stress-free as possible.
Weanlings have the option to grow out and as yearlings be prepped for the next phase of their life, being started to be broken in. This process isn’t as intense as yearling prep for sales but still requires these young horses to have life experience that will put them in the best starting position for being broken in. At Kalil Equine, we believe that the more knowledge we can give to young horses, the more seamless the transitions that we require of them.
INJURY CARE
Our facilities cater for rehab horses or horses that require box rest. Ranging from large rehab-style boxes to undercover sand yards and multiple undercover round yards, horses that require that little extra support are well-catered for at Kalil Equine.
We can work with surgeons and vets already associated with your horses, as well as have the knowledge of our equine vet being based at Kalil Equine weekly. Our visiting Body Worker is also available to assist in recovery and she provides invaluable Equine health-related knowledge.
PERFORMANCE HORSE FITNESS
With a 5 horse walker, bringing horses to work or preparing horses for big competitions is also being offered at Kalil Equine. We have had experience with fitness of competitive polo horses, and believe this opportunity will be for a niche market, catering to Performance Horses.

Absolutely! We cater to the unique needs of individual horses, no matter how small or large the requirements are.

We require at least 48 hours notice for all general arrivals, but understand emergencies happen and these arrival times can arranged on a case by case basis.

Our doors are open to clients and owners wishing to view their horses, but please phone to arrange an appointment time.
